A custom-made dress was created for Cate Blanchett for the Cannes Film Festival, designed and crafted at the Iris van Herpen atelier. The process spanned over three months and included multiple fittings and the meticulous hand-sewing of more than 2,000 individual components.

 

Responsibilities on the project included pattern making, sewing, fitting and photoshoot assistance, shipment coordination, and quality control.
